一首自從DDT出現之後歷久不衰的歌，Joni Mitchell 原唱，Amy Grant、Counting Crows 也唱過。

Joni Mitchell 分享她創作靈感：
「第一次去夏威夷時，我是搭計程車到飯店。第二天早上起來，我拉開窗簾，看到遠處美麗的青色山脈，從窗戶往下看到的卻是綿延不絕的停車場，這景象讓炫目的美景蒙上一層陰影...使我心碎。」
I wrote 'Big Yellow Taxi' on my first trip to Hawaii. I took a taxi to the hotel and when I woke up the next morning, I threw back the curtains and saw these beautiful green mountains in the distance. Then, I looked down and there was a parking lot as far as the eye could see, and it broke my heart... this blight on paradise. That's when I sat down and wrote the song.
